Offshore Banking Project

We have been asked to do the SEO on a new offshore banking website, which is an information only resource which provides details about offshore jurisdictions and asset protection. The SEO element of this will focus upon development of themes and also competitive research to ensure that the site is launched with the best possible competitive edge. The search engines are awash with offshore companies and organic search engine optimisation is the sensible, logical way for such a company to progress.

SEO Developments

So much chat in the forums is SEO spam and misinformation, despite the best efforts of the moderators. There are some excellent practitioners who are giving up their time to ensure that 'the truth' is out there and stamping out misconceptions. All hail those individuals! However, the best way to really search out what is going on in the world of search is to attend the conferences. Danny Sullivan's incisive conferences (SES) are world renowned and draw together the leaders of the search engine optimisation industry. His new conferences will, I am positive, draw the same quality contributors, exhibitors and participants.
If you have never attended a search engine optimisation conference, then now is the time to do so. With the lastest information on social networking, the importance of organic search engine optimisation and the waning of search engine marketing and other such topics being covered, it is a must for any SEO or website owner.

SEO Project

The SEO project for european gadget suppliers Egadge is now commencing. Being an off the shelf php content management system, there will be a number of restrictions regarding cleaning the code and site architecture but the company is keen to optimise their website and will take on board the recommendations made.
Often, it is the case that it is the webmasters, not the clients who are the sticking points in SEO projects. They, often, do not understand the reasoning for certain procedures and technical amendments. This is why training them and making them understand the process is an essential part of search engine optimisation.

Link building for effective organic search engine optimisation

As all organic search engine optimisation enthusiasts and practitioners know, it is imperative to have a number of elements in play when optimising your website. In addition to the usual site architecture and strategies on page, off page link building is essential. The need for good quality in-bound links (not reciprocal links) from page rank 5 or 6 sites is vital for good organic optimisation (OSEO). You should not expect to pay more than about £10 a month for a pagerank 5 link and £20 a month for a pagerank 6 site. Verifying that these are quality sites that will give you great textual links are, of course, necessary. Each of these links are worth 20 poorer quality links as google will rate these much higher and, hence, rank your site higher. An effective SEM (search engine marketing) campaign whilst these links are being constructed is paramount, too.

Organic SEO gets even better!

The organic search engine optimisation of a sports equipment retailer client is delivering fast results. This hot tub retailer now has a pagerank of 2 in Google for one hot tub page and a rank of 1 for another. Combined with an effective SEM campaign whilst the organic SEO comes into play, this will work well for the ROI of this client.
