The need for good quality in-bound links (not reciprocal links) from page rank 5 or 6 sites is vital for good organic optimisation (OSEO). You should not expect to pay more than about £10 a month for a pagerank 5 link and £20 a month for a pagerank 6 site. Verifying that these are quality sites that will give you great textual links are, of course, necessary. Each of these links are worth 20 poorer quality links as google will rate these much higher and, hence, rank your site higher. An effective SEM (search engine marketing) campaign whilst these links are being constructed is paramount, too.
